Cats Knit and tango

We have proof every day that cats can tell time, almost to the minute. Well, at least twice a day. Morning feeding must occur promptly at 7:30 a.m., and evening feeding at 5 p.m. sharp. They also know when we two-legs are supposed to be in bed. They get quite grumpy and start nagging and herding us to bed if we are not there before midnight. If the cats go to bed first, and get all comfortable and settled in, they get seriously disturbed when we come later and roust them to get to our spots; there will be fussing and snarling. So it's no surprise that Zoe Godzilla has announced the official start of fall by climbing into her Kitty Pi bed, which has sat ignored, all summer long. The one major deficit in their chronometric skills is differentiating the days of the week. Which means no sleeping in on weekends. I suppose to cats every day is Sunday.
